Finding your inner teacher

It’s not your job to be what others need you to be. It’s your mission to be your true self.

What I offer is what I went looking for myself: a safe space to explore your own connection with the divine, without judgment. I guide people in listening to their internal teacher.

From ritual to relationship

I grew up in a family of immigrant Catholics, with roots in Ireland and Italy. Our house was filled with crucifixes and devotional items, and faith was mostly rituals and rules. Religion, to me, was about being rewarded for good deeds and punished for bad ones. Sundays were a day of dread.

During my difficult childhood I spent an enormous amount of time at the beach. The waves drowned out the chaos of my household. Walking the shoreline, I felt truly connected with God.

Those years planted seeds of questioning in me. They also left me with a deep respect for tradition and for the power of faith.

The turning point

At forty-nine, I kept hearing a voice within me. I said, “If you can make this very clear and undeniable to me, I will follow.”

What happened next was undeniable. It was like a veil had been lifted. I left a very lucrative position in corporate America to follow a mystery of faith, and here I am.

Sitting with Spirit for conversation became a daily habit. The Voice for Love, the Holy Spirit, quietly entered my life like a gentle breeze, and over time I began to listen more closely.

Where it led

• Ordained ministry and A Course in Miracles. A path of letting go of fear and embracing the power of love.
• Flower essences. I trained with plants in the desert and the California wilderness, and I use essences to support emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
• End-of-life doula work. Sitting with people near the end of their lives has taught me to appreciate the gift of each moment.
• Recovery coaching. Addiction recovery is a deeply spiritual journey of exploring a higher power, intimate connection and surrender. I feel honored to walk that path with people.

Today I work with people one-to-one on Zoom, and some of them have stayed with me for ten years.
