The book

Sum Da La means I give to you.

It is the name of a book I co-wrote: Sum Da La: The Gift of Forty Days. The poetry, the mantras, and some of the lessons and prayers are mine, written with the help of the Holy Spirit.

It was an amazing time. One beautiful day I was in my garage office, writing a prayer for the book, and a butterfly flew in while I wrote. I will never forget it.

Over time I have come to believe that as we deepen our relationship with Source, we begin to connect with our inherent abundance.

To claim our abundance, which is the deep essence of our relationship with Source, we have to cultivate an intimacy with God. As we do, we discover ourselves and begin to love ourselves the way God loves us. In time we need nothing from anyone, and we become a source ourselves, giving to others without effort and without expecting anything in return.

If you’re wondering what Sum Da La means and you looked us up, welcome.

From the book, Day 2: Who Am I?

A Prayer Just for Today

Lord, let my true essence light the way.
I will have many thoughts throughout my busy day.
People will tell me who I am and what they want me to be.
Bless my heart and my mind so I may be worry free.
It is through my stillness that I find my connection with You.
Come breathe into me so that I may carry You the whole day through.

Mantra

I reside within the mind of God.
